It's race day in the kitchen! Grab a marker and draw your route through grease, crumbs, and cockroaches. Hit the checkpoints, dodge hazards and cross the finish line first in this simultaneous real-time rally.
Designed by Simone Luciani & Gabriele Bubola.
- The first-ever write-then-roll — you draw your route first, and roll after.
- Everyone draws at once — two players or six, nobody sits and waits.
- Box to table in 90 seconds — open it, hand out the boards and pens, start.
- Random checkpoints — the route changes every game.
How to play Kitchen Rally
Draw fast, because the winner starts rolling
Everyone traces a route through the same messy kitchen at the same time. The moment the fastest driver crosses the finish, they grab the penalty die and start shouting numbers at everyone still drawing, and every number you hear before you finish goes on your clock. Good luck keeping your line straight!

The quick line or the clean one?
Are you taking the quick but risky line, or playing it safe on the scenic route? Whatever you choose, do it fast and don't wreck your kart!
Zero downtime!
Everybody plays all at once and all the time, whether there are two of you at the table or six.
The game changes every race!
Work your way through six different maps, each with its own twist. Once you know them by heart, ramp up the mess with the event cards.

Build the track
Three location tokens come out of the bag and land on the race board as the start, the checkpoint and the finish. Everyone finds them on their map and waits for the countdown.
Everybody races at once!
3, 2, 1, race! Everyone draws their route at the same time, in one line from the start through the checkpoint to the finish.
Drive fast but drive legal
Your line runs horizontally and vertically, never diagonally. You can cross it but never retrace it, and impassable terrain means exactly what it says. Break a rule and you are lost in the kitchen, which earns you the slowest time in the race plus 20 seconds.
First one home grabs the die
Whoever crosses the finish first grabs the Penalty Die and rolls it as fast as they can, shouting the running total. Now the pressure is on everyone still drawing, because the last number you hear when you finish is your penalty.
Every second counts
Each time your line moves onto a different terrain, it costs you 1 second. The driver with the fewest terrain changes at the table takes the Speed Bonus, and it all goes onto your time tracker.
Then count the scratches
Drove through a dangerous obstacle? Roll the Damage Die once for each one. Every hit ticks a box on your damage tracker, each red box costs 5 seconds at the end of the championship, and if you fill the tracker, your kart retires. So maybe think twice about that shortcut!
Four races and one ruler. The lowest total time across all four races rules the Kitchen Realm, and if it comes down to a tie, the driver who took less damage takes the crown.
